GRUPO ALDOMER, S.C. (hereinafter “GRUPO ALDOMER”, “GRUPO ALDOMER Mexico”, we, the “Firm”) is dedicated to protecting the confidentiality and privacy of the information entrusted to it. As part of this fundamental obligation, GRUPO ALDOMER is committed to protecting and appropriately using personal information or data (hereinafter “Personal Data”) that is collected through its websites and/or voluntarily provided by visitors to our websites (hereinafter “Users”, “you”).

 

Generally, we intend to collect only Personal Data that is voluntarily provided by Users, so that we can provide information and/or services to Users or offer information about employment opportunities. GRUPO ALDOMER generally collects only the Personal Data necessary to fulfil the User’s request. When additionally, Personal Data is requested, you will be notified at the time of collection.

1.1 Personal data processed

We obtain Personal Data about Users when they choose to provide it – for example, to contact mailboxes or to register for certain services. In some cases you will have previously provided us with your Personal Data to ALDOMER GROUP (for example, if you are an employee of us). If you choose to register or log in to a GRUPO ALDOMER website using a third party single sign-on service that authenticates your identity and connects your social media login information (LinkedIn, Google, or Twitter) to GRUPO ALDOMER, we will collect any Personal Data or content necessary for registration or login that you have allowed the social media provider to share with us, such as your name and email address. Other Personal Data we collect will depend on the privacy settings you have selected for your social network provider, please review the privacy notice or privacy policy applicable to the service. Your Personal Data will not be used for other purposes, unless we obtain your consent, or unless required or permitted by applicable law and/or regulations in accordance with the principles and in terms of the provisions of the Ley Federal de Protección de datos personales en Posesión de los Particulares (hereinafter “LFPDPPP” or the “Legislation”) and its regulations.

 

When you register or send Personal Data to GRUPO ALDOMER, we will use this information in the manner indicated in this instrument. Your Personal Data will not be used for other purposes, unless we obtain your permission, or unless the LFPDPPP or other applicable regulations require or permit it. For example, if you register on a GRUPO ALDOMER website and provide information about your preferences, we will use this information to personalise your experience. When you register or log in using a single third-party user record, we may also recognise you as the same user on the different devices you use and personalise your user experience on other GRUPO ALDOMER sites you visit. If you send us a curriculum vitae (CV) to apply for a job at GRUPO ALDOMER, we will use the information you provide to put you in contact with job opportunities available at GRUPO ALDOMER.

 

In some cases where you have registered for certain services, we will store your e-mail address temporarily until we receive confirmation of the information provided by you via e-mail (when we send an e-mail to the e-mail address provided as part of your registration to confirm a subscription request).

 

1.2 The legal basis we have for using your Personal Data

GRUPO ALDOMER generally collects only the Personal Data necessary to fulfill your request. Where additional and optional information is requested, you will be notified at the time of collection.

 

The LFPDPPP in Mexico allows us to process Personal Data, and Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council on the protection of natural persons with regard to the management of personal data and on the free movement of such data, as long as we have a purpose under the Legislation to do so. It also requires us to inform you what those purposes are. Accordingly, when we process your Personal Data, we rely on one of the following processing conditions:

 

  • Performance of a contract: Where the processing of your Personal Data is necessary for us to perform our obligations under a contract;
  • Legal obligation: This is where we are required to process your Personal Data in order to comply with a legal obligation, such as keeping records for tax purposes or providing information to a public body or law enforcement agency;
  • Legitimate interest: We will process your Personal Data where it is in our legitimate interest in pursuing a legal matter to do so in order to advance it, provided that your interest is not overriding; or
  • Your consent: In some cases, we will ask you for specific permission to process some of your Personal Data, and we will only process your Personal Data in this way if you agree to us doing so.   • To comply with our corporate and social responsibility obligations.
  • To exercise your A.R.C.O. rights under the RPGD and the LFPDPPP, its regulations and applicable legislation.

In some cases, the Personal Data we collect will also include Sensitive Personal Data, such as diversity-related information (including data about racial and ethnic origin, political opinions, religious beliefs or any information of a similar nature; trade union membership and data about sex life and sexual orientation) or health data and data about suspected or proven offences, in each case where permitted by the Legislation.
